8th grade year was 9/11
A few state championships in between.
Senior year was Katrina. I got to attend catholic, rummel T, and brother Martin all in one year

Central High. Sr year was 90-91.
This was also when the run off for Governor was between David Duke & Edwin Edwards. There was a lot of talk about riots if Duke won. Some students stayed home but a lot of students wore black for Edwin and others wore white for Duke.

I wasn’t allowed to go to HS but we pre- clears often took field trips to Clearwater anyhow where we underwent adolescent E-meter auditing and talked with SeaOrg members who regaled us with tales of operating Thetans and warned us of all the suppressive people we would encounter. Trust me when I say it was just one big party, man. Chicks errywhere.

Glen Oaks. Class of 82. David Duke staged a rally and burned a cross. It was kaotic trying to get home that day as busses refused to run.
