What kind of wallet and where to buy?

Looking for a nice leather bifold for a family member and have no idea what brands are quality and where to purchase. What does the OT suggest?

Saddleback Leather. Has a lifetime warranty.
It’s no frills. Really like mine. $100 on Amazon.

How nice are you talking? Leather bifold wallets are not a rare thing.

Only problem with Saddleback is that it will break your cards over time.

I think they fixed that issue. The card slots are lined with calf skin so it’s softer on the cards. It can make them a bitch to get out sometimes. The wallet itself is stiff so it’s not going to break anything by flexing.

You can get them at a number of places. I believe Macy's has them as well as quite a few other places.

Because of the hard leather they are hard on credit cards. Mine definitely wear down faster than they should. I love the wallet, but this is an issue.

Never noticed. My debit card magnetic strip never touches the leather and my black card is metal so it really doesn't wear.

Last two wallets I bought were Fossil. I don’t even look at any other brand.

One note for any wallet with a magnet - if may erase some programmable cards. Like replacement debit cards your bank can issue right then, hotel key cards or casino player cards.

I have one similar to this one and love it. Front pocket, RFID blocking, and if you look closely, that little metal thing at the hinge is a built in internal money clip.
