That's pretty much what we do. Where most winter stuff comes from Santa; the summer stuff comes from the Easter Bunny.
What's annoying are the relatives that have turned Easter into a gift exchange. I have a handful of cousins that do this and it's ruining the family Easter gathering. You have maybe 1/2 of them bringing gifts for all the kids and the other half are empty handed - it's awkward.

We do a basket with some of their favorite candies, a chocolate rabbit, and a stuffed animal. Sometimes my wife throws in a swim suit, socks, etc.

I had a unique and funny tradition of giving my daughter the usual basket and include a few toys she craved. On Wednesday, those toys would disappear. It was a cute lesson.

My wife and I do candy for our kids and family children.
Everyone else buys gifts and shite for everyone including my children. We don't do gifts, I'm not sure when they will realize I'm not giving gifts for Easter.
Last year my Mom got my kids a bunch of stuff, then a week later asked to borrow money

This is insane. I would be seriously annoyed.

Candy basket and maybe a small gift.
My 4-yr old is getting a candy basket and a skateboard. Nothing fancy.

Growing up we were basically a candy family with maybe a couple T shirts.

She gets a basket from us with several (small) gifts, a basket from her grandparents with at least 2 Nintendo Switch games, a basket from her aunt & uncle with gifts, and whatever her mom does. Plus a minimum of 3 Easter egg hunts with filled eggs.
Lucky kid.
I'll probably be a basket with candy and small gifts parent.

For us, the kid’s birthday is same weekend so it is a whole big thing.
Otherwise it would be basic.

We got a bathing suit every year. My son gets books so far. No real toys though.

I usually do baskets and one small gift, like an xbox game or a gift card.
Did the same thing growing up except our gifts were a little smaller. I remember I got one of these when I was ten or so:
Yay.

My kids are older now. I'm the kind of parent that buys Easter candy on Sunday or Monday for 1/2 price.

Mostly candy in a basket, and maybe a small gift like a t-shirt, socks, or book.

Basket with candy and one small gift. A book for my oldest level gift. My brother and SIL fill their living room with toys like Christmas. It's absurd.
