Been seeing a lot of possums lately. My dog has been losing her fricking mind over it.

Mine chases them up the fence several days per week. He's going to get his arse kicked by one when he finally catches it. We had one yesterday morning hissing at him.

There's around 6-7 foxes that run through the neighborhood around 6am. My dog loses her shite when she hears them.

Since I put a Ring camera on my back porch I discovered that it is grand central station for possums and raccoons. I had no idea.

Chipmunks. I’ve heard tarantulas like to live in palm trees (we have 2 in our back yard).

My friend that lives in north Scottsdale has had rattlesnakes, bobcats, and coyotes seen in her backyard.

In her front yard she had a pack of javelinas try and run off with her Amazon package one evening

coyotes

If you read the Nextdoor app for my neighborhood, you'd think we were being overtaken by coyotes. They are definitely around and I've seen one a few different times, but the suburban white women are scared to death of them. In their defense I guess, they have killed a few family pets.

See deer all the time. Saw 3 this morning just chilling in my back yard.

mice & rats
deer
wild turkeys
screaming fox i slept on the back porch one night and one came up right outside the screen door and let loose. i thought i was about to be murdered. scariest sound ever.
pair of bald eagles :murica: they're territorial as shite and scare the crap out of my dogs

Rabbits, squirrels, possums, hawks, owls, vultures, falcons, and a whole crew of broad-headed skinks that hang out in a flagstone pile in the back yard. I've also seen a grey fox once when I was heading in to work early around 530 in the morning.

Pretty good mix considering I live only five minutes from downtown Columbia. My neighborhood is old and heavily wooded though.

We have a good bit in our neighborhood at night. The only stray cats that are around are the old ones. They must know how to get away from them

Same. It looks like you are in the middle of the forest sitting on my back porch.
