Sure.

Some might consider that hyperbole, but I guess, technically, yeah.

how would that even be possible?

I was never much of a breakfast eater to begin with. At basic training, by the time we got to the front of the line (3rd Platoon), there was never any Fruity Pebbles (closest to Fruit Loops) left.

In all seriousness, I've probably had fewer than 100 bowls of cereal in 35 years.

I remember eating Malt-O-Meal as a kid. Saw a box in the grocery one day and decided to get it for old times sake. It was the nastiest stuff.

you make it with water, then when its done you mix some cream and butter into it along with some salt and its pretty tasty.

you just don't know how to make it.

if you've never stirred a hot bowl of cream of wheat with a crispy stick of bacon then eaten the CoW soaked bacon you haven't lived a full life.

Some parts of this country call COW Farina. And it does depend on the cook.

My husband loved the oatmeal his Grandmother made and loathed his Mother's. Then we experimented and found that some raisins in the bottom, sugar and butter added at the end of the microwave came really close to his Grandmother's effort.

It helps that our current microwave has breakfast settings and the first is Oatmeal. I wonder if COW would work on that setting as well?

If my wife's parents would have offered it to me before we were married, I would have eaten it. But since that ship has sailed, there is no use in trying to make gross palatable. But I haven't had it in a long time, so maybe one day I will again. But CoW dead so the situation will probably not happen.

Why? Isn't CoW, essentially to elemental form, an eggless pasta pureed into a mush? (not literally how it is made, just figuratively)

If the water is replaced with chicken broth (or preferably, shrimp broth), as is done for shrimp and grits (or other "dinner grits").. wouldn't you end up with a pretty tasty dish that would quite closely resemble shrimp & grits?
