I saw a woman buying an entire buggy full of bottled water today with ebt.

I don’t think ANY liquids beyond baby formula should be allowed. Drink water from the tap.

People drinking bottled water is a relatively new phenomenon anyway.

I was an adult before I ever purchased a bottle of water.

Maybe we should just execute all of these people on food stamps and let you take what few belongings they have. How dare these people buy water or Gatorade or any other liquid. Damn bastards!

If you don’t know the game, don’t get too sick but I have seen shite returned from purchase on LA purchase card and the funds to be used to buy alcohol. Yes, it happens

why? i don’t care who they are, where they live, what color their skin is, or who they voted for. if you aren’t an active net positive to society, you get what you get. which should be the absolute minimum basics.

Still bothers me he said this. Anyone else agree w him?

I may be. But - it was bad decisions that got a bunch of 'em on EBT to begin with. Those individuals are going to continue to make bad decision because they don't have to face the full consequences of those actions and therefor they don't learn anything from it. We ought not to have made it so readily available in the first place. Let them learn a little bit from their continued irresponsible use of the gifts provided to them.

Baby formula is almost always sold as a powder, not a liquid.

Get this. You think there should be no restrictions and when you run out per month you run out.

Klark thinks it's absurd for anyone not contributing to society to receive assistance at all, period.

You guys both vote straight ticket RED. What would you guys agree about if I bought your lunch? Who would their mind?

Whatever happened to the gov't commmodities trucks that went around with gov't cheese, butter and the lke?

The poors should get dried beans, bread cheese, butter, eggs, fresh veggies and fruit, salt pork, ground beef and the like.

If they don't want that, they can get jobs and buy what they want. F them.

I don’t have that much of a problem with the FS program. My biggest problem is who is able to get them. The baby mommas that sit
On the porch and don’t give a crap about their 5 kids from 5 different guys somehow get them… and they have legit people that don’t get approved even though they are trying.

Pretty much everything. There should be a dedicated food bank for those people to go get their shite.

Food stamps should only work for condoms. We'd need to come up with a better name for them to avoid confusion.

Oh, believe me, I agree whole-heartedly with Klark on this issue. One hundred percent. But, since we're here and they're already on EBT, why not let them spend it on whatsoever they want and then have to live with the consequences when it isn't sufficient due to their own frivolous wasteful spending. It's the only way they'll learn. And, if they don't learn, they'll starve for two or three weeks out of every month when they've used up all those benefits.

Correct. But it is also sold as a liquid.

I could make the argument against all liquids though.

Packaging and transporting liquids in small containers is extremely expensive and inefficient.

Not everyone is from a modern city like Shreveport. Lots of homes on well water. Some homes don’t have running water.
