Yes, but you don't know the future value; you made a business decision and decided to rid your portfolio of the card. And you didn't like the card that much anyway, and as soon as it went up a little in price you would have sold it.

IDK, not everyone gets a raging hard on for money. Guy is 80 and alive, I bet any of you would rather be him than steve jobs right now

I lost way more than that when I failed to invest in several major companies over the last 32 years of my life...

This guy didn't lose 60 billion, in fact I bet he made money on the sale of his 10% for $2300 at the time.
