The Pampered Chef slap chop is amazing and I use it all the time. Had it for close to 10 years and it still works like a charm.

If you don't have a switched wall outlet, those wireless switched ones work great. Or if you want a temporary switched outlet elsewhere in your home, for example on your Christmas tree....
