I have 2 stats. 1 that the family thinks is real and the real one that's hidden that only I know about.

We have the heat set to kick on at 60 24/7 right now.
During the summer, it's 78 during the day and then kicks down to 70 an hour before we get home and then 68 at 9pm

If you have a smart thermostat just setup a routine to where it resets the thermostat every 3 minutes. They get the placebo of moving the temp, you reset it right after they walk away.

I'd sell plasma if I needed to in order to keep my home from being hot

I'm home and have the downstairs one at 70 with my space heater. Upstairs is at 66 I think.

We keep parts of the house blacked out in Summer, it's comfortable at 74.
I hate the heater running constantly so around 65 in Winter.

69 while there, 75 while away.
I haven’t actually turned the heat on in years. It always feels suffocating when the heat is on in a house. I would rather just wear sweat pants and a hoodie

We hang around 65 in the winter, 68-70 in the summer.
Old house so it pretty much runs constantly from about 9 am to 2 am in the summer time trying to keep up.

65 year round. home or away. we don’t get a winter
If we get a cold spell i usually just turn off the ac and build a fire. haven’t run a heater in years
