The Pons Fabricius is a bridge in Rome that is still in use. Built in 62 BC, Jesus hadn't arrived yet.

Wow, it seems like a lot of traffic in through the canal ends going through the Gulf coast.

Sagrada Família

Construction began in 1882 by Gaudi and will be completed in 2026. No building in Barcelona can be taller by law. Truly amazing to see in person.

And they are currently building a second one (well, not entire second one, but new cuts and locks) to handle increased traffic and larger ships.

St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, Italy. Originally built in the 4th century by Emperor Constantine the Great over the grave site of Peter the Apostle. No other structure mentioned in this thread was designed by a ninja turtle.

The Superdome. A structure like that built in the south Louisiana soil that is so iconic has to be named. Plus unlike some stadiums every seat has a great view.

Leave it to the French to spend € 394M on a pedestrian bridge.

It's actually a regular bridge, the pic was taken during a race where they closed it to vehicular traffic.

The Burj Khalifa. From what I've watched, apparently it is so tall, you can watch a sunset twice because there is a time difference between the ground floor and the top observation floor. Incredible
