A monk, I pretty much work for my wife and kids, so if they got rid of the whole celibacy thing and paid, I would be a monk.

Go to work, read in silence, pray, tend a garden, maybe make some beer or wine.

My summer job following high school graduation was groundskeeper at Hudspeth Center east of Jackson, MS. If that job paid anything close to what I make, I’d take it.

I got to know a few monks at St Joseph Abbey in Covington. In addition to their religious duties those guys stay real busy running the seminary, hosting retreats, and just keeping the place operating. It's not for the lazy.

A Derek Ponamsky type job at LSU.

Likely he makes a more money than most people on here. This thread is about shite paying jobs, not good paying jobs we just can’t get. Or else I’d say PGA golfer

Professional road cyclist. Travel around the world, be one of the fittest humans on the planet, and get to live in Western Europe for half of the year.

It blows my mind why people choose to not being happy over money. If you work your dream job, WGAF if you don’t get paid as much as you would processing shite in an office setting.

I’m doing it. Every day I think about going back to a 9-5. Steady paychecks are nice.

I guess I forgot the criteria after giving it some thought. I'd really enjoy teaching some high school level finance courses while coaching football and soccer. I guess that pays around $50k after the coaching stipends?
