I see black kids wearing hoodies in the middle of summer in 95 degree heat.
With the biggest threat to their personal safety being other black males, you would think they would maximize their peripheral vision.

I start with a hoodie to get warmed up. Then I ditch it.

Yep.

Typical hood rat thug uni.

Hoodie with hood over their head. Check
Skinny jeans with rips/holes in them and sagging halfway down their arse to show their gym shorts or boxers. Check
Ugly arse, gaudy basketball sneakers. Check

They all dress exactly alike. They have no individuality and somehow think their hood rat uni looks good.

Some of us are from the north and never experienced humidity. Easy to wear sweatshirt while lifting to help sweat more while lifting weights instead of walking outside.

It is because at an elite level, you want to get the muscle warmed up and get a pump going as quick as possible. Sweater helps.

People see the elite level people doing this on Instagram and social media and what not, and mimic it.

It’s nothing new. It’s not weird. It doesn’t hurt anybody. Mind ya business and focus on following the dot on the electronic rep assist machines.

Yes. Those with hoodies over their normal gym clothes is a pump cover. Dudes are so worried about how they look they cover themselves up before they sod a few sets to get a pump.
But you also have those in full sweats that are trying to sweat.
I always wear sweats from Jan through February

Wearing a hoodie to sweat is one thing. Wearing it in the gym with the actual hood on is another and looks ridiculous.

Tell Kai Greene that.

Normally the hoodies and sweats will be over a plastic sweat suit or trash bags to o cut weight or keep the water weight down to maintain lean figure or with in goal/ requirements

Not really a response to you, or trying to preach. I realize you're referring to more advanced lifters but I've seen quite a few average joe's use these methods as well.

Eliminate processed foods, soda, eat mostly whole foods, drink in moderation, and get in your 10k steps a day (I know it sounds like a lot of stuff but do it one at a time. It gets easier) to avoid having to do stuff like that. That obviously won't get you ripped,by itself, but, you probably won't be wearing trash bags at Planet Fitness.

And taking a good long walk every day is pretty easy and enjoyable once you get in the habit and your dog will love you even more.

Do you dress any differently than most other grumpy, fat middle-aged white guys?

If you remove the blinders, you'll see lots of white kids doing this also.

Oh I see them. But I know the reason their retarded asses are wearing them. To imitate the black kids. What I don’t know is why the black kids do it.

Pump cover. I just don’t want to make you feel too bad about yourself when you see it come off

I know you are kidding but it’s kind of true except it’s themselves they are hiding from until they get a “pump”
