Might be a cyst or something worse. I would go get it checked though.

It could be something very benign and will go away on its own. And not to alarm you, but it could be malignant. You have lymph nodes in that area which can become cancerous if you have a nearby malignant growth. I would go have it checked out to rule out the bad stuff. It is likely something that will either resolve itself in time or with a simple treatment. But don’t take chances.

Swollen lymph node probably from a viral infection. No reason to panic. It is a good sign that it is painful to the touch

Go to the doctor. Seriously. Back in 2015 I had one appear under my arm pit and it was pretty painful. It kept growing then turned into a boil. I popped it (very painful) and then before I knew it, I had staph spread to my chest, other armpit, and my nose. I lived with that shite off and on for a year and a half. $2,000 later and many trips to an immunologist later, I finally *knock on wood* think it's been eradicated. Change your soap to Dial anti-bacterial. I always used "deodorant" soap and thought that was good enough until this happened to me. Then I learned that there's actually a huge difference between deodorant soap and anti-bacterial soap. I always thought all soap was anti-bacterial.

Seriously, man. Go to the doctor because you don't want to mess around with staph.

Its most likely an enlarged axilliary lymph node. If it doesnt go down in 2 or 3 weeks I would get it checked out.
