Nobody I know that shoots up also drinks oddly enough. They'll do meth / coke / maybe smoke pot but generally not but none drink.
Honestly I’m surprised any drug user still drinks. Alcohol high doesn’t feel that awesome but the hangovers suck balls.

Nicorette gum. I really didn’t smoke much but was too weak for cold turkey.
Nicorette gave me TMJ… I was like Burt Reynolds all gacked up.
Never again. 10 years since any nicotine.

Combination of adderall and and cope wintergreen. They go together like peas and carrots
ETA: I couldn’t seem to quit, so I eventually started smoking pot to stop. It worked, and I quit pot pretty easily a few months later.
Fast forward and I don’t drink anymore and just prefer to smoke or take a gummy

U-47700. A synthetic opioid supposedly ~12x more potent than heroin. Life was a living hell on that stuff and I wished I would die for the first two weeks coming off of it.
Struggled giving up booze for a while, but I’m over 10 months without a drop, and I can’t believe I would ever say this, but I don’t even miss it. I’m convinced it only worked this time around because I moved across the country. Fresh start, new surroundings, new people, new routines, etc went a long way in making that a lot easier.

Look around. Carbs/Sugar/Processed Food has to be the number 1 addiction in the United States.

Why? Did it make your anxiety go through the roof or did it cause other physical withdrawals?
I’m not the poster you asked but can chime in my experience. When I was withdrawing from kpins I was getting the strangest wd symptoms. Loss of voice, face turned beat red, couldn’t breathe at all, chills but felt feverish, crawling on my skin, and just general pain and suck.

Walking away from someone you love
Also I did meth once or twice. The come down was very rough.

As far as users of hard drugs- especially opiates - I think your DOC changes and the only thing you think about is getting more of that. And people definitely have a preference for their DOC and that can change as they discover new ones. The hangovers do absolutely suck (something you don’t get with heroin, although I wish you did so maybe I wouldn’t have done as much. But even with no hangovers once you do it enough you definitely physically get addicted and get dope sick which is worse imo) but I think the main reason they don’t drink is simply because they found something they like more and literally all their money ends up going towards it. People do use meth and coke with it but many times it’s to complement the dope via a speedball. But make no mistake the heroin is king and must be had.

How much were you taking? Do you remember you daily mg (I'm sure it varied, but your average daily mg?)

I don’t like it and try my best to stay away from it but occasionally I’d get a cottan to draw up that had both the fent I was after as well as a little meth in it. If I’m going to mix up a shot and make a speedball I’d far prefer to use coke in it than meth. If the meth wasn’t so damned long acting it would be fine. Coke eventually you come down (after draining your wallet) and go to bed. With meth the high ends but I’m still up for days which sucks, I’ve never understood the desire for it. I know plenty of people who can smoke a ton of it or do a giant shot of it and be dozing off an hour later it’s weird. It has different effects on different people I guess, same reason adderrall speeds me up but people with ADD if that’s actually even a real thing it seems to calm them down.

No clue on daily amounts. I was prescribed 2 mg klonopins and I’d take like 6 or 7 at a time and let them dissolve under my tongue.

Ok, so someone that took 1 mg a day as prescribed probably wouldn't have the same deep withdrawals.
I know all about alcohol withdrawal and that is nightmarish.

No I didn’t say that. Your body will build up a physical addition to it all the same (mine was accelerated due to the quantity I was taking I’d imagine) but if you take it for long enough I can still see just a mg a day possibly causing wd symptoms. Maybe not as severe but everyone is different. When you get off benzos even if you didn’t abuse them and took them as the doc said you should still stop under a doctor’s supervision and they should taper you down not just cut you off cold turkey. The doctors that do that are complete pieces of shite and don’t understand the physical trauma it can lead to.

Tried em. My buddy Scott at Tech went shrooming around Ruston with me. And once he drove up to this farm and told the guy there he was from the mycology department at Tech and could he collect some samples so the guy said sure and had his little 7 year old boy go out and help Scott pick ‘em. I told him he was gonna burn in hell for that lol. But anyways I have a weak stomach and ended up throwing up the tea we made from it so they all tripped and I didn’t.
Took acid once but it was bunk or something because none of us tripped. Now what I did trip off of was ecstasy oddly enough. Me and my buddy Jason wanted to roll so got three tabs a piece and took them but never rolled how we wanted to so early the next morning we said frick it let’s go sit in the car and smoke a blunt and call it a night so we did and we both started tripping hard. Was a great feeling along with all the visual and audio hallucinations.
