Heroin doesn’t get you high once you have a tolerance either. Doesn’t mean it’s sober. You may feel no high but to think your judgment and thinking is not clouded while taking it is willful ignorance.

It’s an extremely strong CDS opioid. It prolongs opiate addiction by making it more affordable and prolongs people from getting the help they need.

Massive debate amongst addiction professionals but my experience working with people that use it is that it is not “sober” by the definition of the word. Yes it may keep you from dying, today, but it is not equal to not using mind altering substances.

I’ll let you know, but alcohol is the worst. You don’t have to go far in Louisiana to find it.

Also, how long has it been since you had a sublicade injection?

Laughing at someone that’s trying to be sober is pretty fricked up. You put in the emoticons on this anonymous message board and act like it ain’t shite for the other person.

Pain medicine like NSAIDS and excedrine. I was feeling high after mixing those pain powders with Provigil. I ended up in ICU in 2019. Had surgery and survived. Quit taking any pain meds unless absolutely necessary.

Definitely a woman. They can make the next breath seem like a victory when you don’t thing you can take it without them.

One breath, one minute, one hour, and one day at a time. Time cures almost everything. Just take that next breath.

Unless i missed it, this is the first ive seen Ambien mentioned in this thread.. for me, Ambien was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to quit.. i wasnt ‘addicted’ to it per se, and i only know that becuase there were times i ran out , or for whatever reason wouldnt take it- and i didnt have any physical withdrawal symptoms- i simply just couldnt sleep for shite.. so i had what i believe was a dependency, and took it most nights for 2 or 3 years.. sometimes id take two in a night.. after a while , my short term memory was shot, id have conversations with people where id ask them the same question twice in 5 minutes, not realizing id just asked them.. very scary stuff since i was only in my late 30s at the time.. so i never refilled my last prescription, and it’s been a few years now since i touched Ambien.. i take a cocktail of herbal and OTC sleep aids now, and they dont knock me out quite like Ambien did but the side effects are much milder .

Another troll. Hopefully it never happens, but if it does remember that post when someone you care far goes down that road.

I’ve done it myself and completely understand the difficulty of making massive life changes. However I find it funny when people believe that taking an opioid that is 25-100x more potent that morphine is sober.

That sounds like a hell of a heartbreak.

Quit smoking after 15 years, cold turkey, wasn’t easy.
