Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Please feel free to explain how you can possibly misinterpret that to support your religion running my government. It's funny how all the constitutionalists want the 2nd amendment interpreted verbatim, but when it comes to the 1st they all seem to know "what they really meant." You can't have it both ways.
And for the record I prefer a direct interpretation of all of it.

The color black is not actually a color. It is the absence of color.

There were over a dozen US presidents before George Washington.

Global warming is real lol. So sad that so many have bought into the hysteria over global warming. Climate has always changed and their isn’t a damn thing that can be done about it.

From 1774 to 1781 there were eight “Presidents” of the Continental Congress. Most served only a few months, three served less than two weeks, and John Hancock served the longest at just over two years.
From 1781 to 1789 there were ten “Presidents” under the Articles of Confederation. Most served a one year term but the shortest was just under four months.

That man made climate change is a money grab. That CO2 is a poison.

Regardless of educational attainment, most people are clueless about most things regarding geography, civics, economics and history.

Sure. Right after you or he points out the supporting argument for his statement right there in the first amendment.
