I saw a guy pull a natural royal flush in Vegas once.
we had it happen with the guys i played poker with once in hold 'em. he tried to slow play it, but the possibility was there on the flop so everybody bailed.
not in the same vane as others, but i was driving up I35 between San Antonio and Austin. A rig carrying cars that had a car hanging out the back with it's back two wheels in neutral on the road. right as i was passing it, the back axle snapped and the back of the car started skidding. i sped up to get away from it, and one of the wheels that popped off started rolling parallel to me in the shoulder. it rolled in perfect symmetry with me for about a mile and then rolled into the ditch.

A Tiger in the wild in Vietnam.

I guess the rarest thing I've seen was when I rafted down the grand canyon. The oldest exposed rock formation on Earth is at the bottom.

Saw a hand one time where a royal flush, lower straight flush, and 4 of a kind were all in play.

just jogged my memory some more, and remembered a really awesome rare sight that I witnessed a few years back.
I was in Pensacola for work in January, and I stayed on Pensacola Beach. The temperature reached near record lows, and an "arctic sea smoke" effect took place on the ocean. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

King Tut's sarcophagus ....
I saw the King Tut exhibit in N.O. when it was at the Museum Of Art in City Park back in the mid 70's.
I was amazed at the sophistication of the articles on display that were made in antiquity.

Was there also. Always will remember the street in front of the museum was painted Nile Blue.

May 28, 1995, I saw Greg Maddux carry a perfect game into the 8th inning until he gave up a solo HR to Jeff Bagwell. That was the only hit Maddux gave up.
Maddux went on to give up one walk in the 9th but pitched a complete game 1 hitter.
Braves won 3-1.

Got to play with a pet tiger cub at a family friends' home years ago when they bought one. It had to live outside in a pen when it got to big to control. Then they sold it or gave it away to a zoo or Tiger King type "zoo." Not sure.

I've seen a Perfect Game in person. White Sox vs. Mariners in 2012. Very cool to watch.

cracked two eggs in a row with double yolks. Haven't see double yolk before or since.

Humber, and I can't seem to remember any sort of remarkable plays other than the pitching.
We were along the 1st base line, towards the outfield and up several levels. So not great seats, but not bad.
It was great hearing all of the Mariners fan cheer in support as we were witnessing something pretty special.

Phillip Humber, who was absolute dog shite with the Sox (and Yankees before that). Very unlikely perfect game...he certainly wasn't known for having great stuff/control.

this is not necessarily a good answer to the thread and fairly specific, but i have a similar one.
i was teaching a couple of friends how to play euchre, which is a trick taking card game very popular in the midwest. it utilizes bowers, meaning the jacks of the color of trump are the 2 best cards.
so anyway, we are gonna do a practice hand with the cards face up to just kinda run through some situations, how the bidding works, and how you play.
anyway, i dealt him JH, JD, AH, KH, QH and the up-card (that is utilized as trump) was the 10H. it is the best possible hand, immediately worth 4 points (out of 10), ive never seen it happen, and will likely never see it happen again. and it was in a practice hand with guys who had little to no idea of its significance. it was incredible.
