1) Fiefdom Syndrome
2) Lack of vision, planning and overall unwillingness to cooperate.
3) poor public education system
4) roads/infrastructure, blah blah blah
5) metropolitan form of government with metro council...really?
6) over abundance of dedicated tax revenue due to general distrust of politicians
7) having to watch annoying car dealership commercials or another damn personal injury lawyer advertisement
8) the fact that all of these things mean I'll have to do the best thing for my family and move to another state
I love LSU, the great food, our families that live here and the hunting/fishing opportunities.

Possibly poor public education system and crime rates. I do not miss that part of Louisiana at all. I now live in a town with blue ribbon schools and virtually zero violent crime.
