Then why did you say that "good food" is one thing that is preventing you from losing weight?
Overeating. Easy. And look I'm not saying I blow it out every night and it's making me gain weight. I'm like 10ish lbs from where I was in the summer. I'll get right back this summer.

Lots of excuses in this thread but “eating healthy is expensive” has to be the funniest. I fasted yesterday, that was pretty cheap. How about eating one meal a day? I’m sure 1 “healthy” meal will be cheaper than your 3 cheap unhealthy meals.

I’m aiming towards summer to have my numbers right as well. I’d like to gain 4-5lbs and drop my BFP about 5% based on the numbers I got at the beginning of this month and I’d be happy.

“ To change my diet would require me to wholesale change my cooking schedule, techniques, recipes, ingredients, etc. It would not be a simple transition/decision”
If you have the money, use a service like Dinnerly or Hello Fresh. Dinnerly is cheaper and it’s the same thing. That will take care of all of your concerns. You will learn how to cook and you will have good recipes that you can save. Stick to meat and vegetable plates when you are selecting. When you have enough recipes stacked up, you can move on to going to the store and getting it yourself. If you can’t afford the extra expense, cut some crap out of your life you don’t necessarily need to make it happen. Every little bill counts. It adds up. I’ve used these services. The food is fantastic.
ETA: side note: the meals for 2 are really about 1.5. I have never been a big eater and that’s my assessment, so don’t expect to share with another person, especially if you are already fat. You could add a salad to rectify that situation though, or add more meat or whatever (If for 2 people. 1 person, don’t add anything)

Welp, I'm screwed. I can put down a large on my own with little problem.

Only in America is that normal to some. Nowhere else in the world

This makes me feel sick just thinking about it. How do you do this?

I can eat a dominos medium by myself in one night pretty easily.

Imagine how fat I would be if I still drank Bud Heavy. AKA meatloaf in a bottle.

I can eat 3 slices max on a medium before I have to at least take a long break

I just know when I'm in the 210 or a bit lower range, I'm comfortable to splurge here and there, look good to be at the pool and not be self conscious (I used to be about 270, shirtless wasn't a thing) and enjoy my time. I got down to 190 once and I was real thin and fkg hungry all the time. Not for me. I don't mind the "dad bod".

Fat people have a long way to go before they get to this step. They are already eating garbage. You can find meat and veggies at a good price. There is a premium for everything you listed tho (at least in supermarkets)

I need to exercise with regularity, and just cut out eating trash when I'm a little stressed.
I need to lose about 15-20 imo.
