Taffie: as a kitten, every time she jumped up on the table she farted, couldn't call her Fartie, so decided to dyslexic the letters to get Taffie.
Splashcat: came to us as an adult and splashed water when she drank, turned out she was missing all her lower left teeth.
Twitchit: wandered up as a lost cat with a broken foreleg and a twich in her giddyup.

I named my American Staffordshire Terrier, Bocephus, Bo for short. I named him that after Hank Jr. mainly because he was siezed at 4 weeks old from a drug house.
