I sliced a golf ball out of the tee box at Webb Park and busted the drivers side window outbof a new 911 Porsche. I skipped two holes and played on like it wasnt me.

Hitting golf balls at friends house, shanked a 5 iron and knocked a hole in their fiberglass pool. I still can't believe it happened. The ball left the head and went on a straight 15° angle.

I did $50k worth of damage to a hotel once.

In my defense, I think they padded the bill.

I damaged a $300,000 valve that we sold to a customer and were prepping to ship. Luckily it was something we could fix. You don't realize how expensive stuff is around work until you screw it up

not me but my grandmother once sunk my grandfather's brand new $80K Bayliner boat in the first week they had it.

She forgot to put the drain plug back in after parking it by a sandbar. She was permabanned from operating any of their boats for the remainder of their 60 year marriage

quote:

A customized hand-blown glass chandelier from some small island in Italy. The home owner was proudly telling the guests how they had it commissioned for their anniversary several years back (at that time). The story goes....

Back in 2006, I was attending a wedding at a multimillion dollar home here in Houston, and as everyone was leaving I grabbed someone's jacket (not sure how I even got it) and wafted a prize-winning beer fart around the foyer of the home. I swung the jacket too high and one of the cuff buttons clipped a piece of the chandelier and several pieces fell to the ground. Me and the guys quickly left and now that I think about it, this is probably the first time I've really talked about it.

Don't know the exact value but it is undoubtedly the most expensive thing I've broken.

Do you play softball, by chance?
