You're not the only one. I don't even gamble much but I love Vegas. I'm planning on going to the LSU/USC game next year, can't wait.

Vegas is great for a long weekend. So many great entertainment and food options. I barely gamble also.

There is a little sand along the south side of Key West off of A1A. I could see how some might feel disappointed if they haven't done their homework but that's on them. We've had great times there, taking the seaplane to Fort Jefferson, fishing the Marquesas, drinking on Duval, and watching the Sunsets from Mallory Square. The former eastern block mob that runs the souvenir shops seem to keep crime in check, remember when NO had a similar set up and your didn't need to worry about getting killed in a random shooting in the quarter?

I found people either love Vegas or hate it.

I love it and I’m not a party person.

I’ve never been to Disney but universal was disappointing. Sea world was better and is very underrated if you like real roller coasters

I think this is it. Went last year and just hung out by the pool all week. Will say the restaurants are awesome but the people there rival New Yorkers with regards to being complete assholes

And most of those people have moved in from Louisiana and Mississippi recently.

I had no clue that there wasn't a beach in Key West, guess I just assumed there was since it's an island. I don't live in South Florida and we've never planned a trip there so I was just in the assumption camp there.

There's another beach on Key West but unless you stay at a certain hotel it is no bueno.

I love Las Vegas. I like the fact that you can always find something exciting going on and there is a lot of entertainment, but like anywhere else it isn't for everyone.

Orlando

I agree. With that said, even as a kid I was never really a fan of Disney. I used to be into GI Joe, transformers.. shite like that so Disney was not that. The characters never appealed to me, I went to Disney world once and it just isn't my thing. I have never seen any of the Disney movies, the Lion King, the Little, Mermaid.. The only Disney movie I ever watched was the one that set in New Orleans. It was okay for a Disney movie and since Disney world is pretty much Orlando then I agree, but there are people who love Disney so they probably have a different opinion.

I've been to L.A. for two days. I didn't get to experience all of L.A. but I just don't get it. I remember landing in the middle of the day and their was a lot of smog. I guess if you are wanting to be an actor its the place to be and I am sure there are places you want to be scene, etc.

I think Colorado Springs is a place that is underrated.

i think one other person on this thread mentioned it, but Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge...oof. beautiful area, but absolutely ruined by just over the top gaudy tourist trap bullshite. i went there last summer with my family, and i honestly just preferred staying in our cabin up in the hills to going into town for ANYTHING.

The Caribbean in general. Yes, we get it - you have beaches and tons of poverty.

Absolutely. These and the NP were easily the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced in my travels...and I've been to HOA.

I can get on board with this, though I do love the Virgin Islands. I wasn’t all that impressed with Grand Cayman.
