I was an idiot and did it twice.

I was about 25 and went with. 2 friends to their deer lease for 10 days. Put face paint on for bow hunting, etc… while at camp the truck broke down and we were 25 miles from town. This was years before cell phones. A few days after we got there we had a bad freeze and water well pump quit working. Some older guys can in the next weekend and we were able to get truck running with their help and got the hell out of there. Hit a grocery store in Austin on way back. Women were literally staring at us and grabbing their kids. I had gone about 8 days without a shower, or shave, had green and brown military facepaint in my pores, hair was sticking up and felt like steel wool. Had cleaned a few feet that week as well as rabbits and quail. Pretty sure we smelled like shite rolled in shite.

4 weeks after living in an igloo in Antarctica without any food, water, or clothing. The penguins could be very judgmental and stayed far away from the smell.

Somewhere around 30 days when we first deployed to Kosovo. Granted we had baby wipes. But that don’t cut it.

I bathe at least once a week whether I need to or not.
