Probably gone 24 hrs a couple of times. I know when you have stitches in your go s, they often don’t want you to brush your teeth. I can’t see how you could do it if your jaw was wired shut either.

I brush thoroughly in the morning when I first wake up. Quick brush after breakfast and coffee before heading out the door. Quick brush when I get home from work. Thorough brush before bed.

Every day since I was kid.

Weeks into months but I was in ICU for most of that time. Come to find out the nurses are suppose to brush your teeth with these swabs in situations like this but it never happened. I didn't eat that entire time either so I am not sure what would have messed up my teeth. The hydromorphone pump made me not realize nor care.

4 or 5 days.

You’d be surprised by how much more genetics plays a role in tooth health than regular hygiene.

My dentist said that some patients have multiple root canals before age 40 and aside from that they have overall good tooth health and brush their teeth twice a day everyday.

6 days but I did rub toothpaste across my teeth with my finger and washed out with bottled water.

Afghanistan. It sucked.

Think it has more to do with food you eat. There was a video on youtube from the 1900s where some dude went to places over the world and was studying their teeth. Once introduced to the western diet, he noticed how fricked their teeth got. It was an interesting take to say the least. I mean how did people's teeth survive for so long before a tooth brush?

I was in a coma for thirty days.
Hospital staff were supposed to brush my teeth but I don't think they were very conscientious.

I also awoke with a van dyke beard because that is where the oxygen mask covered.

Worst thing though is after being intubated for four weeks I was allowed no water for the first 24 hours.

Around 3 days. Had a gum graft and didn't want anything touching it.
