Maybe not the longest, but I would argue the Mickey Shunick thread was the greatest thread in the history of TD. Some of the lead detectives on Lafayette PD were checking in on the thread in real time. I heard that from a very reliable inside source. There was one poster in particular that may not have broken the case wide open, but definitely provided a clearer picture/context for LE to hone in.

There was a thread that was anchored and Dollar Choppa kept hitting F5 to repost to get his post count up. I think he went from 15k to 65k in 2 days.
