Had a lot of speeding tickets in my younger days going back from LSU to visit fam in Shreveport. Record time was around 2:45 hrs. 8 mph was smallest for speeding ticket either on 190 or 49 can’t remwmber. Probably got around 5-8 speeding tickets during those years till I grew up but I learned how to work the DA office, none went on my insurance record. Even went to court a few times knowing cop wouldn’t show up and got it dropped. Now I suck because im older with kids and set cruise for 5 over

Legally a parish sheriff or city cop ticket on the interstate means nothing if you not goingat least 8 miles over the speed limit

Lowest pulled over: 67 in a 60 (US 290 in Dripping Springs, TX)
Lowest ticket: 81 in a 70 (I-20 somewhere between Bossier and Monroe)
Highest pulled over, no ticket: 60something in a 45
Highest: 87 in a 55 (FM 741 in Kaufman County, TX)

Cops "pacing" you is the biggest crop of legal horse shite I can think of...it blows my mind that you can be assessed a per mph fine based on this practice

Sounds like the Southern Sheriff stereotype isn't far off with all these 1 to 4 mph over tickets.
Been a long time since I got stopped but I think the ticket was for 19 over. IIRC 20+ over means a trip to jail?
Normally run 10 to 15 over anywhere that is 55 or higher with no troubles.

Only been pulled over twice, 19 and 27. The second was coming off the old Mississippi River bridge.

38 in a 35 mph zone. 4:00 in the afternoon and I was coming home from school. It was my first ticket two months after I got my license. Nowhere near a school zone.
The radar cop that wrote the ticket said he would have let me slide, but his "partner was a hard arse".
I think his name was P. Rick and his partner was A. Hole.

17 in a 15
Cop would sit in a lawn chair in front yard in Harvey while people cut through his crummy area to go to Home Depot
He would jump in front of you and wave you down and not in uniform
This was a long time ago and I was very very young and not smart enough to go to court
I am pretty sure that is below the accuracy of the speed gun back in 1984
I actually should not have stopped no uniform or cruiser visible

75 in a 65 on the interstate.

So I've had two 77 in a 70. I did get out of both of them. I once got a 36 in a 30 in New Orleans from a camera. My friend who was with me in the car at the time thought the video was hilarious,so did I. So we decided to step it up a notch. We purposely decided to get a speeding ticket with one of us naked on the roof of the car. We tried it several times in Carrollton but there was construction going on so the cameras were not hooked up or on. We gave up but we thought of a better idea. One car drives with the naked guy on top with no license plate. You have a friend drive next to you at the same speed. He gets the ticket and you enjoy in the video

I got one there for going three miles over the limit. This happened around twenty years ago and I haven't passed through that town once.

Got pulled over for 110 in a 55
Tried to explain to the cop that my gas mileage was unreal, but he didn't care
Well at least it was a nice try.

I was going 87 on River Road one day and got stopped. I told the officer that this is the normal speed on this highway after work

I'm pretty sure I once got a ticket for getting within 2 mph of the speed limit in Baskin

75 in a 70 on I-70 in the mid 90s. I was headed home for the weekend from college. I was headed Eastbound, State patrolman was headed Westbound. Crossed the grassy median to pull me over. Probably because i had a real POS car. Was going to search my car, decided not to and let me go with a warning.

I drive 7-9 mph everywhere I go. I have received three tickets in my life and all were between 11-14 over. This tread scares me.
