There is definitely a consensus on the OT that it should be done.
If you want major divergence, you should ask about their opinion on piercing the ears of young girls...

We see a lot of babies that come in for UTIs and are hospitalized for IV antibiotics. For the males we see with UTIs....majority of them are uncircumcised.

CAD's poor kid has an anteater dick... I think it's cruel to make a kid grow up with such a monstrosity
Well, if he takes after his father, at least it won't be much of a monstrosity.

As long as we circumcise females as well I don't have a problem with it.

Has it been that long that you have to resort to dudes on the internet?

Remember that old joke about the guy who had a wallet made out of elephant foreskin? You rub it and it becomes a suitcase.

I'm circumcised, but I don't think I will circumcise my boy(s) when I have kids. The foreskin actually has a functional purpose during sex, and it protects the glans while you're not having sex, preventing keratinization (and thus desensitization) of the glans from friction with clothes and other surfaces.
Yes, technically circumcision can reduce the risk of a few complications, but in my research, I've found that those benefits are overstated in public (layman) discourse.
I'm a few years off from having kids, so I'll probably continue considering this, and I'll consult doctors before the fact to make a final decision.

I don't have kids yet and am not sure which way I would go. It didn't have an ill affects on my life so I don't see it as a big deal either
