There really hasn't been any quality studies one way or the other. It's a pretty difficult thing to study. One of the only potential subjects would technically be men that married a Jewish woman, and converted. But even that's extremely complicated.

my kid had to get a couple stitches when they did his circumcision. Felt horrible and kind of regretted doing it

All mine got snipped. No girl wants an anteater. They didn't even cry so don't give me this shite that's it's a horrible surgery. Maybe for an adult but not a baby a day old.

Ask any 3 year old with phimosis or paraphimosis if they are glad they were not circumcised after birth?
Ask any guy with penile squamous cell carcinoma whether they wished they had been circumcised at birth.

ETA: my 2 cents
I do it for looks (cleaner look) and religious heritage , somewhat for health; but that's not as big of an issue now days.
