Got coaxed into joining a podcast. We did about 15 episodes, had a couple thousand followers and had breweries begging us to feature them. Then the main guy quit drinking and started playing the bass at his church.
Yep, that's a caper

My crew got picked up at midnight walking back to my house from the grocery store with about 5 packs of 12 roll TP. We had a mind to roll a house but it was past curfew and a squad car spotted us. We sat in the Arabi police station until my NOPD uncle came and picked us up. We couldn't wait to get out of there, but my cousin (son of said officer) was begging to be kept there overnight instead.
My uncle yelled at us the whole way and dropped the rest of us off at my house into the care of my pushover mom, while my cousin watched us with a terrified face from the backseat window of his dad's car.

Without knowing anymore details, this sounds like it was the greatest time of your and the other guy's lives.

Back during what must’ve been my early elementary years, a friend in the neighborhood found years worth of his uncle’s Playboys in his attic. We spent the better portion of our summer biking a couple issues at a time hidden under our shirts to a surplus culvert in a then undeveloped wooded area at the back of the neighborhood. That stash was legendary and membership was intensely selective.
We lived like kings. Kings I tell you.

Definitely something I'll tell my grandchildren about. I've still got a sticker or two laying around here somewhere. Seriously, eff that guy and his dumbass ideas. He never finished anything he started but yet we believed him and even recorded the first two in his attic. Anne Frank would be proud

Organic produce at the self checkout lanes. Figure that's about my going rate for having to ring up my own groceries.

I was speeding down highway 19 in brothers Jeep. The cop turned on his lights going in the opposite direction. This was in between Wilson and Norwood. I had taken the Jeep to the shop in Zachary and it was also for sale. I was able to make it back to my grandparents and place the for sale sign in the window and put it by the road before the cop caught up. Pulled away in my car, which was a civic. Passed the cop who was chasing me.
Reminds me of one time in college where me and roommate were riding back from friends party, which was like 1/2 mile down the road. We were drunk as frick and luckily there was no cars on the road. When turning into the apartment complex, I kinda ran up on the curb and a cop car turned around and came after us. I hauled arse through the complex, parked the car, and we ran inside and went to the balcony and watched the cop car drive around trying to find us.

My high school had an OJT program where if you had a job learning a technical or trade school you got out at noon. I worked at Home Depot loading lumber and concrete on the lot but my paycheck said "Lot Technician". I took that to the guidance counselor and convinced them I was learning technical skills and got out of school early my last semester.
Only other genius thing I did was when I had to go community service for a misunderstanding with the 5-0, I'd do two hours of community service and once the supervisor signed my time sheet I'd add a 1 in front of the 2 and get credit for 12 hours. Boss.

Worked at Office Max in HS.
Would have to put out the sale item tags on Saturday night.
This was during the height of burning CDs and DVDs.
If said sale item was out of stock, or out of sight, there was a back up item that would be given at sale price. The back up item was normally better quality.
I would hide all the sale item shite and then tell a friend to come up early on Sunday and buy all the back up items for the listed sales price, then we would sell them to all the dumb rich HS kids in the area for a nice profit.
Also I wouldn't let anyone out of the store that bought some sort of electronic device without the 3 yr warranty plan, I would get a commission off selling that. Mostly palm pilots or computers/printers.
I also hatched a plan there when I saw raffle tickets. I decided to buy a roll of 1000 tickets. And made a plan to go around surrounding neighborhoods 'fundraising' for my summer lacrosse league. Top prizes were sporting event tickets, gift cards, blah blah.
Dumb people ate that shite up. 3 for $5, 8 for $10, 15 for $20. Only took a weekend to sell all 1000.
I am also banned from eBay. I found a Chinese website where I could buy the newest Jordans, the Chinese version, the #23 was minutely different from real Jordans. These pair were only $15. I would list them on eBay as new and then direct ship as a gift from the Chinese website to whoever won the auction. Normally a $150-200 profit.
I would also list digital cameras for sale. I'd use a lot of words in the description of the digital camera and then the last line would say, 'I guarantee you will receive great photos from this camera'. And then I'd just send the winning bidder a picture in the mail.
I was rather enterprising in my youth.

I called my dad, changed my voice, and convinced him I was a woman interested in buying his old tractor then threatened to “call the law” on him because the price was too high. He was giving me an earful when I started laughing and gave myself up.

The greatest trick I ever pulled was convincing the world I don’t exist.

Went to Bama vs. Kentucky football game in 2017.There were students selling parking places for up to $50.
My buddy and I pulled into a big yard that had 1 car in it.
They said it wasn't their yard. They even left hot dogs on the grill, and the fixings there.
My buddy said,"Follow my lead".He made a sign that said "$20 Parking".We filled the yard up.9 cars.
If the students had been home we would have given them the money. That's usually what we do.Nobody was home,so,we split the $180.
Good times.

We I used to work at a movie theater back in the early 90s. Me and one of the other guys had a system of selling each half of the tickets and pocketing the money. We had to make sure to keep count to not over book the movie.
