What is the earliest decade someone could time travel to now and adapt to modern life?

They are dropped straight out of their time into 2018.
I’m thinking maybe someone from the 1960’s could make it after some time? Late 60’s.

Probably almost any decade going back to the Roman Empire.

a better question, and one that i ask a bunch, is how far back in time would you go if you could be the richest and/or most powerful man in the world? it's a lot sooner than you'd imagine

1920s could probably do it. TV is basically radio with pictures. They had phones back then. Email is a quicker way to send a letter or pay a bill. Automobiles were around back then and are functionally improved. Desktop/laptop computers have the same keyboard layout as a typewriter.

1910's. Electricity and cars were around. Flight existed. They would adapt.

Late 1800s max. Anything earlier would be so mind blowing, the MF’er might just drop dead.

Good point. Some rich guy from the late 1800's dropped in the middle of the poorest part of Appalachia would probably be like WTF happened here.

My mom grew up in the early 60's poor as frick and is very good with modern technology so I would say it just depends on mental capacity. I do think it's been too fast for some people and probably contributes to depression.

Humans are highly adaptable. After a few weeks we'd probably get used to the lack of modern amenities and conveniences. It'd suck but we'd survive. I think it'd probably be harder to adjust to life in the future than in the past. People from back in the day would have some deep convictions about how the world works that would be totally wrong and probably hinder them from learning the new devilish ways of the world.
