Some dumb kid got into a gorilla inclosure and caught the attention of a gorilla (Harambe). Instead of letting darwinism take its course, zookeepers shot the gorilla to save the child.

I thought it was a meme started to make fun of that Ghostbusters chick, which seemed pretty racist to me.
Maybe it is making fun of SJWs who get but hurt over animals being killed.
Maybe Harambe was just a good boy didn't do nothing wrong and captured the heart's of people around the world with his unjust killing.
