Maybe a little bland, but I've always been partial to treeing walkers.

Isn’t that the breed in several John Wayne movies?
He always just called them “Dog”

He goes great with my “house poor” wife and I’s boring, suburban life. He loves long rides in our leased SUVs while we consume an inordinate amount of Starbucks (in a Stanley of course), and accompanying us to little Addison, Teddy, and Hudson’s soccer games.

My boss has a Vizsla and he's pretty badass. I have a 14 year old Chihuahua and she's the best, but def not the coolest looking.

German Shepherd gets my vote.

He's also very intelligent (usually), sheds very little, and is very good with kids.
We used to have one and they're popular for a reason.

Ove always liked Ridgebacks but my wife can't stand them. Her uncle had one he used to take from California to his land in SD to pheasant hunt. He was hyper vigilant and could be mean to anyone not her uncle.
Anyway, my wife will always have a stupid English Bulldog. I can't see it. Her Bulldog is cool and all but it's 70 lbs of snoring, slobbering stubbornness. She thinks they're the happiest and most expressive communicators. I've lost that battle and we have a bulldog instead of a hunting dog.
I will say this, her bulldog is the easiest thing to travel with. I've taken that damn thing on 15 hour road trips and she never makes a sound the whole time and they never bark in hotel rooms.

You had 31 DVs when I replied (only slightly less than UVs) which is incredible as you're right, of course, and it isn't particularly close (except for Huskies and Dobermans).

I don't care for the look of GSDs because I've never cared for dogs with pointy wars sticking up. I was raised and bird dogs and coon dogs with floppies wars that lay down and that's what I'm used to.
And I don't downvote or upvote posts. It's nothing but hive mind groupthink.

Neapolitan Mastiff. They come in 3 flavors

I don't like these dogs at all but women seem to go for them. The slobbering, smushed face look is not aesthetic or pleasing at all and they're gross to be around with the slobber and farting

I know it. But my wife loves them. They "talk" to each other.
So I'll always be stuck with one. She let's me do whatever I want and spend whatever I want on stupid toys so I'm not going to butt heads with her on her dog choice.
