I've got one small one about a foot across and a large one about 4 feet across. Just trying to get a price range. TIA

I'm married so I get my stump ground free.

But only 7 times a year.

don't know what people charge for that, but it is worth whatever they charge....don't even consider renting a grinder and doing it yourself...

I had a large pine stump done for a few hundred I think. But that was almost 15 years ago and it was the same guy that cut it down.

Probably $200-$300 depending on your location?

I just had 2 mediums done for 80 bucks in rural area. A 20 inch and 30 inch (approx)

Just do it yourself. Stump grinders are cheap to rent.

Yeah, don't listen to this guy

To answer your question, anywhere from $2-4 per inch usually + they will charge to remove the chips. Typically have a minimum fee just to come out that's maybe $75 or $100

A honest response to this gets real personal really fast.

Flaccid or engorged?

Got to say a tree stump four feet across was one helluva tree. You must have lost one fine tree in your yard.

If it was a Water Oak, he's better off without the sumbitch.

Drop leaves all year, hollow and brittle, prone to losing half of their tops and quite the host for ants and/or termites?

No thanks.

Live Oak? Now that would be a crime.

This. I would think those two would be less than $50.

The old saying is a water oak spends half its life living and half its life dying. I just took one down in my parents old house that was giant when I was born well more than 50 years ago. The middle was hollow. Shame.

Just remember to ask about chip removal. If you don't they will leave a 3 foot high pile of shite at each stump. I assumed prices automatically included haul off from this fricker and let's just say I spent a weekend shoveling wood chips in the back of my pickup.
