Think about the amount of hustle it takes to be Guy Fieri. Dude won season 2 of Food Networks next big star show - which means nobody knew who the hell he was- took a camera crew to a few dive bars and made a National brand out of it.

If all Food Network ran was DDD instead of stupid arse reality cook-offs

DD&D has to be the FOOD Network’s most successful show.

Guy seems genuine as hell and had a damn rough road to get down.

Still find the oatmeal aversion funny as shite

A couple years ago he did a cameo/cooking in New Orleans for Boudin, Bourbon, & Beer then something like 24-36 hours later he was cooking and bringing attention, money, and aid in Cali for forest firefighters (think it was the Camp fires).

That is when I realized what a genuine guy he was. Definitely wasn't the biggest name in NOLA, but still showed up and did his part for charity.

He is the greatest human being on the planet today IMO. I don't think it's even close either.

I know a few people that have worked with him recently.

Said he’s a complete a-hole.

You could make a great road trip in certain areas of the country hitting only DDD places. Great way to keep some older family-owned joints in business.
