And this from the 1977 Yankees World Series champs. Best man in my wedding was on that team.

I have a cracked bat that Jim Thome swung with. It has Roberto Alomar’s name on it for some reason.

I have an old baseball card of some dude with the last name Wagner.
My wife keeps telling me to just throw it away…
All seriousness, I have a 1994 Official World Series ball. Thing is, there was no World Series in 1994 because of the strike.

I have a signed Ichiro ball and cap from when he played for the Orix Blue Wave in Japan. A friend and I sat in the outfield cheering section for one of his games in Tokyo. I caught one of his first home run balls. An usher took me to a room near the dugout, and he came in and made the swap. He wás only 21 at the time, and he was already famous in Japan.
If you love baseball, put sitting in a cheering section at a Japanese baseball game on your bucket list. You won't be disappointed.

I've never understood adults collecting another adult's gear and signature.

I had Charles Scott's game worn jersey vs Bama when he broke his collarbone. It was his last carry for LSU. I got it and gave it to Charles. He has all of his jerseys that he was able to keep except for that one.

As a gift I received a Cincinnati Reds World Series program from 1919, neither the person who gave it to me, nor the person he bought it from realized who their opponent was.

I have a few thousand autographed sports cards. Several former Tigers, several Hall of Famers from various sports. I have a handful of LSU signed pics…Burrow, Cannon, etc. I have maybe 50 game used minor league baseball jerseys, a few LSU game used jerseys from football and baseball. Several autographed books.
Most unique is probably some stadium seats from Crosley Field. I have 3, and a seat from Riverfront Stadium. I’m not a Reds fan, but someone owed me money, and those seats are more valuable than the money he owed.
My collection is too spread out. Baseball, football, basketball, several teams. I’d like to narrow it to LSU and the pro teams I actually like.

A 2009 World Series ball signed by A-Rod. Looking forward to adding another signed World Series ball when THE JUDGE smashes through the glass ceiling!
