2009 - In two months, I lost my grandmother suddenly and a friend to cancer. My daughter was also born, but my wife lost her job and it was incredibly stressful.

Honestly have no clue what my best year is. Most of my life has been a blur due to alcohol, Xanax and depression.

Worst--I don't really know.

Best--2014-recieved my PhD; got married; began my post-graduate career.

Worst- 2010 hands down. My father in law died in May and my dad died in November. It sucked and still does.

2004,2009,2011- our kids were born so they were the best .

I liked the 90s. 2002 blew.

I was married for a long time to someone with a lot of sexual hangups. That wasn't the reason I left, but it's why now having a guy who loves sex & is amazing at it has made this year remarkably good, despite the whole divorce thing.

Was his hang up that he liked men?

Sounds like it was hard leaving him although you are fulfilled sexually now.

Haha. I tried to make it work! I can't fix him.

I realize that's my side of the story, but he would probably agree.

From an objective perspective, I've had one shitty year. Been the victim of multiple crimes and lost the only truck I've ever owned outright to an accident.

But. I've got a good job and good wife and good little farts running around, and I'm somehow counting the blessings instead of the losses.

So did you monkey branch to the new dick before letting go of your husband?

No. I met him after I left. Still a lot sooner than a respectable waiting period, but I was moved out.

1985 and 1986 were both great for me.

2005 was a shite storm even before Katrina. That just pushed it into FUBAR status.

2004 sucked

Renovated our new home finished on a Wednesday August 11. $40 G's

Hurricane Charley hit on Friday August 13. Damage $50 G's

Only to have the roof repaired and destroyed again on Sept. 26. Hurricane Jeanne.

Without a doubt the most stressful time in my life.

Best: 2007. I was a poor college student frat bro, but it was a legendary year. I took a lot of huge risks and all of them paid off except for one. 2014 was a close runner up because I solidified my professional career and have basically ensured my life in the upper middle class.

Worst: 2012-2013. Lost a really important mentor to an untimely death. Lost a job with that. 1/9 happened to LSU. Just a bad year.

Current age:27
