I’d also like to add that I asked his professional opinion of if the SHO gets extended and he said no.

The argument against is that it would shut off federal money com ing in from the Stafford Act. How true that is, legally speaking, I dont know. If true, following through would be fiscally destructive to state govt, so they probably won't do it.

It's definitely frowned upon at a minimum one would think.

MS was supposed to open more businesses on Fruday. At last second Reeves held off. So nothing opened has been closed but he hasn’t opened more.

The LAGOP is to blame for this whole mess. Not honor code. Not Rispone. These assclowns convinced Bobby Jindal he was going to run for President. Then they didn’t even campaign for Vitter because there was no way JBE was going to beat him. And then, they ran a representative that can’t even be bothered to show up and actually do his job and vote at least half the time against a ridiculously weak Gov. And when the people said no thanks, they played pitty party and reelected him instead of supporting Rispone.
So I don’t want to hear shite from any of the so called conservative leadership in this state. The whole lot needs to go.

Did you really think the La legislators would do anything?

Timmy Teepel convinced Bobby Jindal of that. The LAGOP leadership then kept their noses all the way up Jindal’s rear hole just hoping he’d catapault their career.

Update on Petition to override the governors Emergency Declaration Order and to re-open Louisiana?:??
We have picked up more than the necessary 53 commitments in order to proceed. The final draft of the petition was emailed to House members last week. We will be picking up the original signed Petitions today and tomorrow.
To this point, I have resisted making public the list of members that have committed and those that have not committed. If we receive 53 signed petitions, the list will be made public when we go forward. If we are unable to get to 53 signed Petitions by Wednesday, I will likely make the list public at that time.
