What happened to the NG and Sweeps in BTR Jeff?

Not long ago we had a legit gang style terrorist attack on our mall at lunch time.
Now nice areas of town are seeing shootings and violence continue. See McDonald’s shooting at PR last night.
I remember Jeff Landry going on TV and giving a very passionate speech about how he will get NG and fed help for warrant sweeps.
What happened to that Jeff?
Thought we would forget?

I simply do not understand the reasoning for not being hard on crime in BTR.
This is the capital city with LSU and some of our largest revenue generators for the state.
Why would they be content with it going to shite?
Doesn’t all his rich friends also live here too and have to deal with this as well?

Landry made a dumbass video in an actual McDonald’s about another dumb new law in Louisiana that made something already illegal more illegal.

BRPD is undermanned and under funded. It was knee capped by Mayor Broome who stabbed the blue in the back and let the gangs flourish.
Our DA is suing for more funds. Funds the
Parish doesn’t have.
Our judges let murderers loose on bail. Ankle bracelets are the norm and they aren’t properly monitored.
Meanwhile we spend above average to fund our libraries and parks. Things are out of balance. Grest libraries and parks shouldn’t go ahead of a safe community.
