It was the next "big thing". Scruffy hasn't heard about it in ages.

Guess people couldn't see the future of those glasses very clearly.

I'm guessing it has more to do with lawsuits in it recording things at all times. That, and it was too damn expensive.

I hate Google Glass purely because of that one wannabe socialite woman who wore them into a bar and complained she was being persecuted because the bar patrons didn't take kindly to her filming them constantly with her stupid glasses.

Sarah Slocum....here's a link to an article about this dumb woman. LINK

Seemed cool, then you realise it's more inconvenient and dumb.

Sorta like..

If people who complain about being filmed knew how much of their lives are filmed they'd probably kill themselves.

Yeah, but the majority of those videos aren't usually plastered on social media.

It was always an open prototype.

It never really commercially released.

Microsoft's HoloLens is probably going to beat it to the "Wow" punch

The Power Glove looked so great on commercials and was mostly useless when it came to enhancing gameplay.

Enhancing? I'd go far as to say it was entirely counterproductive when it comes to even playing the game in question.

I don't mind being videotaped from angles like security cameras but when you get in my face with something like google glasses just cause you think it's cool to video tape everything you do, I'm not gonna think it's awesome

Ahead of its time. Google learned a lot though, privacy is a huge concern and has to be built in to products.

Sarah Slocum. Based in the pictures in that link, I do not think she has been a woman since birth...

Interestingly you could probably walk around doing the same thing with a Gopro and no one would say a word.
