I don't know about New Orleans but Baton Rouge has the Pickles. They hang around on Coursey Blvd at Bull Chicks.

Haven’t read the thread replies, but I imagine some of the locals have posted in this thread in an oddly proud tone about how Nola gangs are too hardcore for these national gangs to get a foothold and the hood gangs in Nola ran them all off.
The same posters will mention 7-10x on this board before years end how they’ve never felt endangered in New Orleans and it’s a great city with rich history and culture
