Fire alarms do not set off sprinkler systems. Sprinkler systems do set off fire alarms.

Also most fire sprinklers are set off by temperature, not smoke.

There are some systems (pre-action) that can do this but they make up a small minority.

Eta: Water damage from fire sprinklers can rival fire damage in terms of cost to remediate. They save lives, not property.

It’s safer to drive with your flashers on if it’s raining so hard the wipers can’t keep up.

And when the sprinkler does go off, it’s not every sprinkler head at the same time.

P.S. fire sprinkler water is the nastiest water you will ever encounter

Regardless - your group will still keep my pieces longer than any other cat service shop in the country. Tell them boys to tighten up

Picric acid is the cousin of trinitrotoluene (TNT).

Picric acid is trinitrophenol (TNP) and is a high explosive when dry.

In most instances, employees have no legal right to a fifteen minute break every four hours.

Employment at will has nothing to do with a "right to work" law.

In most instances, an employee does not have the right to review his/her personnel file.

My favorite "not common knowledge" was the woman who called and wanted to sue her employer for harassment. The harassment? They wanted her to get to work on time and she was continually late.

Louisiana has the highest auto insurance rates in the nation because Louisiana is the most litigious state in the nation. Open your car door onto someone occupying a parked car. They get lawyer. Lawyer runs them to a chiropractor for a few months. The insurance company WILL pay the $10K chiropractor bill along with pain and suffering whether the insurance company fights it or not. Judges are lawyers. Could be argued this is the biggest racket in America.

Aren't they both just particulate HEPA filters?

Usually a combo cartidge is used for more hazardous airborn hazards such as organics or mercury.

Pumps don’t suck….they produce a low pressure vacuum area at the impeller and atmospheric pressure pushes fluid up into the suction to fill the vacuum.

Why would a P100 cartridge be more effective than an N100 cartridge with regard to viral capture?

I would think they’d both work equally well. Unless it was a bio weapon and delivered in an aerosol.

Only a small percentage of teachers that sleep with their students get criminally prosecuted.

Illinois takes that award. The Mayor of Chicago sued carmakers because their cars weren't sufficiently theft resistant. Now, that has to be the shite suit of the decade award.

The ducks at the lake are free. You can just take them. I’ve got 350 ducks.

People generally thing GMOs are intended to make superior crops, like apples that are bigger. In fact, they are generally engineered to be resistant to pesticides so you can spray pesticides to get rid of weeds or bugs without damaging the crop.
