I'm pretty he's moved to a less visible spot in his ministry, where bilking poor old people out of their money is a little less shameless.

Great guy! He and his wife were missionaries to Africa for years before coming back to BR and taking over Bethany Church from his father. They have adopted several children from foreign countries and raised them in their home with their other children.
Never a scandal in their family or church, to my knowledge. He could have been extremely wealthy with the size of the church he pastored (multiple locations) but they have lived a very modest life.

Yep.. of all the preachers out there these days to get on for being fake and on the take, Larry isn’t in that group. I have always given him credit for being true blue.

I agree. Im not the Godliest of a man but every once in a while my wife will guilt me into going to church and its always Bethany. His son Jonathon is running it now and he seems to be pretty solid. Not over the top with gimme money and your going to hell etc..
