I think they're dumb but whatever.
I have a Rambler I use for coffee, it's great for that purpose. I have other insulated stainless cups, but I don't really like beer out of them.
When it comes to liquor/beer, glass is always preferable.

these Yeti cups are the shite. I never in a million years would have paid $25 or more for one, but damn if they are not worth it. My tumbler keeps ice for 36 hours.

To answer your question, no I don't think 25$ is too much, but no I will not be walking around with anything Yeti.
