I'm a short Lafayette baw, but my wife is still 5 inches shorter than me.
ETA: I also don't ever really feel that short, because there are plenty of people who are my size around me. I guess the French are short? I don't know why most people around Lafayette are short.

I’m 6’2” and my wife is 1/2” shorter then me without shoes. If she wears any heeled shoe at all she is taller than me. Neither of us give a shite. I can sit in a chair while she bends at the waist and I can eat that arse without bending my neck at all.

Never had a problem with taller women.
