Bought one for a couple of trips the England where I was outside a lot, and it was perfect for that. Everyone in our group wished they had one before it was over.
But here in Louisiana, I've had few occasions to wear it. Was handy for Mardis Gras parade and a cold bowl game. Holds several cans of beer.

The Filson gives you the ability to use without a liner or with a liner depending on temps...

I wanted a Filson but couldn't find any I liked so went with a Barbour. I like it.

I think this. If you like them and want to wear it then go for it. If I saw you with it on, I wouldn't give a shite. I think they look nice.
