It’s so good you slap your momma because she didn’t cook for you like that.

He can stay. I’d rather have almost any yankee over almost any Texas Longhorn.

I have heard “slap ya momma used 1,000,000 x more than I have ever heard someone say “ Laissez les bons temps rouler”. Never actually heard anyone say this in my life that wasn’t on TV. But TV gonna TV.

Remember when the Saints had a "Slap Ya Mama" ad on the field during a preseason game? It went over very well on National TV.

It’s a southern thing, not just a Louisiana thing

There used to be a beer joint/dance hall on Grand Caillou named “ La Bon Ton Rouler”

When they tore down the dance hall I salvaged the concrete pillars it was on to build my house on. Forty five years ago when I was twenty years old.

This brings back memories when Slap Ya Momma did advertising with the Saints in preseason. When the Saints got to the red zone the announcers said the advertisement with an on field graphic.

A few days later they had to part ways due to the league office stepping in saying it condones violence.

See my post above. That shite was hilarious.

Graphic advertisements to go with "down and distance" graphics on the field didn't stick with the NFL but the blowback from Slap Ya Mama ad in the preseason was pretty awesome for business.

Ignore it, just some cutesy "new" southern thing.

Alot like the "song of the South, sweet potato pie and shut your mouth". I cringe when i'm in a bar and all the goofy young kids start singing along.

Grew up in the Deep South, parents were from rural Louisiana and Alabama where they grew up just after the Depression. We grew most of our vegetables, canned, shelled peas, pick blackberries, you name it. Lotsa fried chicken, butter beans, and fried green tomatoes.

I'm an old Southerner and never had sweet potato pie or heard anyone say "slap yo momma".

Means you need to slap your mom because while it was very good, it would have been better had she used Tony Chacherueysgbfbsj’s
