Spray entire yard with Talstar (bifenthrin) every few weeks.

I just put concentric rings of peasants around my gathering so that the mosquitoes have plenty of food and never make it to me and my guests.

Of course, as decorum demands, the peasants must face outward and are not allowed to look at us.

What race are these peasants? I need something to be outraged about right now.

Inuit. I find that while they are acclimatizing to the sub-tropical climate, they are more enticing to the mosquitoes.

Of course, it costs a lot in bus fare to keep rotating them in and out to make sure that there's always enough that aren't acclimatized.

Skeeter defeater. Google it. I hang it up on my porch and it sprays every dawn, dusk and by remote control. Cans last about a month a piece. I got a case of cans (3 or 4) and the whole system for I think around 120. I don't get bit near as much now, if at all. I'd couple that with a bug zapper or two. My porch isn't huge.

Bug spray. Ceiling fan on the porch. BBQ some food and let the smoke work for you.
