What do you think when you see a small town used car lot?

Normally older modern vehicles. But at one time each one of them was a moment of excitement for the original owner.
Where is that person now? What are they doing? What adventures or life did they have with that car?
It is like the used cars are hopeful to begin a new chapter. Hoping to outrun time

I don’t think once ever thought that about any car, except a classic car that has a handful of miles on it. I do always wonder why people buy it if it’s just going to sit in the garage?
