It depends on the context.
I have a buddy who, if using a question mark or exclamation point, will use AT LEAST three of them. I know he isn't gay but I don't know why the frick he does it.

I typically only use them ironically.
I find that most males that gratuitously use them are either over 50 or are lame as shite or both.
