I live for international travel( non-business). In the last year I’ve been to the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver, China, Thailand , France, Italy and Monaco. I feel like I’m slowly dying when I’m not traveling. If I could justify moving to SE Asia now I would. I’m much happier there than I am here. As soon as I board the plane my stress goes away. I’ve always been that way.

I wish it worked that way. But they’ve said an eye transplant is a decade or more away. I’ve already got an implanted cadaver lens. But with modern technology i’m afraid that an eye transplant is out of the question even if I had the money

I love to travel, but that sounds exhausting
I generally limit myself to one (true) international trip per year (Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean don’t count). But kudos to you, man

Heading to Houston in mid July for a few days, nothing big. Then going back to Vegas early part of next year. Then next summer may be going to Toronto.

The heat, the lushness, the pace of life, the lack of predictably, the friendliness, the beautiful people, the noise, the food, the affordability, the mystery, the feeling of being out of my element. It’s hard to explain why someone likes one place and another loves a different place.

A long weekend in Houston for water park, shopping, and Astros Game don't sound too bad. Fun for everyone in the family.
In the 80s, We used to love to go to AstroWorld and the Galleria in the summer for 3-4 day vacation. We went to an Astros game once too.
